Fun at the Carousel

First off Happy Birthday Katie!!! Cuz I know you read our blog each and every day :)

We took Damaya on a carousel ride. She enjoyed it. Turns out this carousel is haunted (and no not in the Halloween sense of haunted), you can read about it here. Anywhoo, Damaya was kind of in one of those grumpy moods. We didn't think she would enjoy the ride but she loved it! Aren't they adorable?

Around and around they go!

So there are only so many pictures one can take of a cute daughter and beautiful wife going round on a carousel, but I tried my best.

The end of the ride. We all had fun!

Here is a little video of Damaya on the carousel. Precious isn't it?

Halloween!

Halloween was fun. Damaya dressed up as a Slytherin from Harry Potter. I told her she could be a princess if she said the word, or any word really that made me think that that is what she wanted, but she didnt. So I made her be a cute pink Slytherin.
And of course that meant that I had to be Bellatrix LaStarange (cuz I love the actress) and Jared was a sport and was Severus Snape (he's an awesome actor too). This is us at our wards Trunk of Treat. Dont you just love Jared's wig?
We went to the mall Halloween night for Trick or Treating. We ended up at the Disney store, Damaya found lots of things she liked there, so did I...
Earlier in the day Damaya and I went to a Retirement Home too. That was lots of fun. Damaya loved holding her pale out to get candy.

Damaya the Dancing Queen

We have a future cast member of Mammia Mia living in our house. She is quite the little dancer. We hope you enjoy all 3 minutes of beautiful Damaya dancing :)

And just to point out the really cute things in this video...
  1. Look at Damaya's eyes when she spins in circles
  2. If you look really close you can see our cat out the back door
  3. Ok so this isn't in the video but after Damaya's dancing she ran into the kitchen and got a bloody nose from taking a fall :(

Our Favorite Place to Walk

Damaya and I like going for a walk. So I always forget that when you upload photos onto blogger you should upload the last photos first, because when the photos are uploaded they are done in reverse order. Anywhoo, so this is the end of the walk, we are back in the parking lot. As we were walking back she heard a little girl saying hello to someone and she starts saying "hello! hello! hello!!" She is so friendly.
We were playing in the leaves. In fact it was so cute that I took a video of her throwing leaves in the air. And just because I like you all so much I am going to include a video at the end of this post! Let's just say it is full of leaf throwing, leaves stuck in hair, and over all silliness.
Damaya is pondering on the complexities of life like, if CERN was really able to accelerate a neutrino faster than the speed of light does that prove Einstein wrong. And if Einstein is wrong does that mean modern day physics, as we know it, is built on a false foundation like the tall and spacious building. Or how was it possible that in the 1600's in a tiny island in the province of Nova Scotia (Oak Island to be exact) a tunnel was dug that was over 200 feet deep? And every twenty feet or so there was a wooden floor made of oak?
Here is my guest appearance in this entry.
Damaya wants to invite you to watch the video below this picture.

Thanks for visiting!

The Lion King Blooper

This was absolutely hilarious! I hope you enjoy as much as I did :) The rest of the bloopers weren't that funny, but you can go watch them on youtube if you want...

Random Pics from October

Here we find ourselves, once again, towards the end of the best month in the year. So to celebrate a certain special somebodies birthday, I have decided to upload some photos on the blog! And there will be more posts (I promise) before the end of the month.

So what kind of good post starts without a picture of the boys?
They are beautiful in all ways. Damaya has learned to use daddy as a horse (no comments about that bald spot!...)
We bought this toy for Damaya before she was born, and she never used it! The boys used it, but never Damaya. Well now that she no longer fits under the ocean, as we call it, she loves it! And yes in case you were wondering the boys do to.
Damaya with her new favorite toy. Raccoon.
"Hey you guys are being to loud, I can't sleep!"
Damaya at the zoo with Aunt Chelsea. She loved the penguins.

Damaya being the fashonista at the zoo. Isn't she stylish (thanks Grandma for the awesome jacket)
We are considering taking up the life of farmers....ok not really, but it is still a cute picture right?
Damaya and Daddy watching football on the iPad. Go Broncos!
Damaya and Dad at the zoo (ummm so I don't know where all the photos of Damaya and Meighan are...for some reason mom doesn't like being photographed ;)
