Pumpkin Alert!

It's that time of year! Meighan did the outline, and I did the carving.

We had to buy a lighter to light the candle.
It was very helpful when the power went out last night...
Happy Halloween!

Walkin in a Winter Wonderland

We wanted everyone to see how wonderful our October has been. It snowed
And snowed (Meighan tells me these are bunny tracks)
And snowed some more

Oompa loompa alert!

Oompa Loompa Alert!
This is our little girl, Damaya Justine! This picture is a profile of her.
This is a foot kicking Meighan (which it did the whole time by the way)
This photo tells the gender....your guess is as good as ours, but the doctor told us this is a picture of a girl
You can see the head on the right of the picture along with two eyes. On the left of the picture you can see two feet kicking Meighan.
This is Nessie...no it is actually Damaya's spine
This is her femur along with some toes
This is her head.
This is another head shot, you can see the brain in the middle.

Mesa Falls!

This is Mesa Falls This is my hottie head, I am about to push him into the falls.
If you look really closesly you can see aliens fishing for salmon
This is a picture of some rocks. We like the orange and white colors on them.

This is a picture of yellowstone along the firehole river. We were actually in the park on the same day as our fuhrer Obama. We saw a rather large plane flying into Bozemen area, and when we first entered the park we saw a motorcade of vehicles including 5-6 police cars. Jared would not say Heil Obama with me as the motorcade passed by...

Munchkin update

Munchkin Alert!
Not the green haired munchkin though. We wanted to post our first picture of our munchkin. this was taken at 6 weeks, and Meighan is now 11 weeks along. That is right, for those of you who don't know we are expecting our first child!
In this picture the baby is 0.71 centimeters. That is very small, about the size of a grain of rice. The kid is the white thing in the black dot towards the left of the picture.

Craters of the Moon

We wanted to share our trip to craters of the moon with everybody...So here we go
These are crater fragments from the volcano. They are tall.
This is what the actual moon surface looks like (though they think it looks more like Mars actually)
This is an actual moon tree, surrounded by actual moon foliage

This is the cutest person in the world

This is her lucky slave :P

Well we hope you enjoyed our trip to Craters of the Moon. It was hot. We actually discovered that it cost 8 dollars to get in...so we parked the car in the visitor's center parking lot, and hiked into the park...that is our little secret though.
Afterwards we enjoyed jamba juice and gyro's. It was a trip well worth taken.

A cold Rexburg Winter (Things from the phone)

Yes I realize that it is July and we don't want to think about this...but I just figured out that you can send pictures from your phone to an online website and download them. So we thought we should show everyone how much snow we came home to last Christmas. Our driveway had as much snow as you see piled up on the side! It was a cold winter.

Stay tuned for more things from the phone

My not flesh eating bacteria and other updates

Soooooooo..today I went to the health center here on campus and found out that my flesh eating bacteria is not a bacteria at all as the previous doctor had supposed, and it is not a ring worm fungus like the ER doctor had supposed (I work in the ER and so she just checked it out for free), rather I have a viral rash called Pityriasis rosea. I am not going to give the two previous doctors much flack though because on the mayo clinic website it says this Although pityriasis rosea has a distinctive appearance once the rash appears, in its early stages you may confuse pityriasis rosea with other skin disorders. However it does make me happy to know that my flesh is not being eaten away hurrah!!
As far as other updates go, I am going to be graduating at the end of this year. I only have one more semester left and I am way to excited for that day to come! After I graduate I have been accepted and will go to school down in florida for chiropractic. Meighan and I are thinking of making a trip down to Florida this fall to check out the campus, nothing is set in stone yet.
Meighan is busy with her art degree. She will graduate one semester after I am done. One thing that I appreciate about her semester is that she is taking culinary arts classes and making yummy food! and chocolates!
Anyway sorry for the lack of pictures but I thought you have seen enough of my chest :D

My flesh eating bacteria

Meighan took these wonderful pictures of my flesh eating bacteria folliculitis. So this bacteria forms all of these zit looking red dots around your hairs and then starts eating the skin away. Lovely eh?
So this is a picture of my stomach you can see my belly button, and the shadow is the camera
This is a picture of my chest. The big red dot in the middle is not folliculitis but some other flesh eating bacteria which the doctor wasn't exactly sure what it was.
This is another picture of my chest.......So now I get to take some yummy steroids and antibiotics!

Wish me luck for a speedy recovery!

We were expecting a big eruption and all it did was dribble over the side

It's pretty

This is Jared sideways, (thats all your getting the computer takes too long to flip the picture)

Its pretty, it has yellow and things and it is really cool

This is all we got of old faithful, we kind of missed the big eruption

Portland!

I know it has been a couple of months since we have went to portland, but we thought that we should post some pics for everyone to enjoy!
The most exciting thing that we did while we were in portland was to go see Wicked the Musical. The play was everything we thought it would be, it was lots of fun and very entertaining. However, finding the auditorium in downtown portland is a different matter :D

We also had Chinese food at the happy new fortune restaurant. We paid about 4.50 a plate and we got a whole bunch of food for it. It was very yummy!!!!!!!

Another highlight was going to the Japanese Gardens. We have several pictures for your viewing pleasure.Isn't she cute?

This is one of our favorite pictures.

This is a view on our way out of portland

Meighan and I really enjoyed Portland, we went and looked at the chiropracting school there, but we are going to Florida for chiropracting school instead...So hopefully in about a year or so we should have Florida pictures to post!
