Random Pics from October

Here we find ourselves, once again, towards the end of the best month in the year. So to celebrate a certain special somebodies birthday, I have decided to upload some photos on the blog! And there will be more posts (I promise) before the end of the month.

So what kind of good post starts without a picture of the boys?

They are beautiful in all ways. Damaya has learned to use daddy as a horse (no comments about that bald spot!...)
We bought this toy for Damaya before she was born, and she never used it! The boys used it, but never Damaya. Well now that she no longer fits under the ocean, as we call it, she loves it! And yes in case you were wondering the boys do to.

August, so far

Life after having my appendix removed. Everything is grand and dandy. Three emergency surgery and I'm only 26, what should I have removed next?

Damaya didnt like that I couldnt lay on my belly for awhile, so at the first opportunity she sat on me and pretended that I was a horse.

Harry Mittens is glad that he no longer has to entertain Damaya during the day. He tells me that it was quite exhausting work.

The idea occurred to me (through my wonderful wife of course, after I had tried uploading the video about five thousands times and achieving the same result over and over...)to split the video in half! Cry of the Damaya!

Bet you didn't know that there was a movie made starring our little baby! That's right we had to dig it deep out of the bowels of the internet, but here it is! We hope you enjoy our little princess as much as we do!

ER's and Fairies

Damaya's had an eventful past two weeks. She fell down and landed on her right elbow. Screamed for hours! So the next morning I took her to the ER, she wasnt moving her arm and if you touched it she'd scream like you were poking her with a hot iron. After even more screaming and a very likely new found fear of ER nurses Damaya came home with a temporary cast on.

Poor baby.

I got her a new dress cuz her arm couldnt fit through any of her outfits. I even bought a few shirts and cut long sleeves and made them short so when she got her plaster cast on she could wear more then dresses. But when we got the the Pediatrician Ortho Doctor they took her temp cast off and Damaya started moving her arm and picking things up like nothing had ever happened! So happy, no broken arm, just a very badly bruised elbow and some new clothes.

Harry had a birthday...I'm going to say he's 9.

I finally finished Damaya's chest of drawers. This is a before pic of what can only be called the most boring dresser ever! White every where with glimpse of blue from it's last paint job and yellow on the front. That bottom drawer is white cause I primed it. I also painted Damaya's name. It has purple flowers.

This is her "new" chest of drawers. Tinkerbell with sparkly dragonfly knobs!

I know it's freaking awesome. Didnt paint the fairy's, just used decals. Damaya loves it.
