Merry Christmas Aunt Kathy!

This post is for my incredibly wonderful aunt Kathy. Aunt Kathy has had a trying year this year with complications from surgery. We want you to know Kathy that you are in our thoughts and our prayers and we are hoping for a speedy recovery! You have been an amazing example to us of perseverance and and patience and we hope that this video brings you just a little bit more Christmas cheer today! Merry Christmas, happy new year and here's to praying for a better 2013!

Hyrums first video

This is an older video, but it is Hyrum's first video. That's right you get to see Hyrum's acting debut! This little guy is now five months old and he is off the charts for height! He continues to be a healthy and happy baby, however he is allergic to both soy and dairy so that has been a lot of fun working with his allergies.

Damaya at the mall

I know it has been a long while since I have posted anything to this blog (like five months), however, I will try to post more often.

This is a video of Damaya playing in the play area at the Clackamas Town Center mall in Portland. As you can tell she is going through her princess phase (as she is watching Sofia the first as I write up this blog post)

Hey everybody we have some pretty big news! Or should I say some pretty little news! We are expecting another baby!

So without further ado I would like to introduce you to Hyrum Alexander Hymas. Isn't he cute?

And what kind of post is complete without a shot of Damaya? Here is Damaya loving every minute of being with Zues. (Zeus has been going through Harry withdrawals since he went summering to Boise)

Fort Myers!

Last week we took a vacation to Florida and our first stop was Fort Myers. That was an awesome place to visit. Keep in mind though that for most of the video and pictures in this video we were sleep deprived. I mean like we hadn't slept for over 24 hours....But aside from that little part Fort Myers was amazing, let me count the ways

• San Carlos island
• Shadowing a chiropractor down there
• SUNSHINE

Christmas 2011

Well 2011 is in the books, I can't believe that Christmas has come and gone already! We here in the Hymas household are so efficient that we have already put together our Christmas video! And just because we like you all so much, we are going to put up a post later to show all our wonderful presents.

A Good Life

Well we just passed thanksgiving, and so I put this video together to show my two greatest blessings :) Featuring never before seen videos and photos (I know! so exciting right?!)

Damaya's Animal Noises

Damaya is getting so good with her animal noises. I wanted to share a little bit with you.

Me: Damaya what sound does a cat makes?

Damaya:

Me: Damaya what sound does a dog make?

Damaya:

Me: Damaya what sound does Daddy make?

Damaya:

Well at least she has got meow and woof woof down. I was hoping for something more like "I love you." But I guess it makes sense, right now she only views me as a play toy who chases her and says RARRRR!

Fun at the Carousel

First off Happy Birthday Katie!!! Cuz I know you read our blog each and every day :)

We took Damaya on a carousel ride. She enjoyed it. Turns out this carousel is haunted (and no not in the Halloween sense of haunted), you can read about it here. Anywhoo, Damaya was kind of in one of those grumpy moods. We didn't think she would enjoy the ride but she loved it! Aren't they adorable?

So there are only so many pictures one can take of a cute daughter and beautiful wife going round on a carousel, but I tried my best.

Halloween!

Halloween was fun. Damaya dressed up as a Slytherin from Harry Potter. I told her she could be a princess if she said the word, or any word really that made me think that that is what she wanted, but she didnt. So I made her be a cute pink Slytherin.

And of course that meant that I had to be Bellatrix LaStarange (cuz I love the actress) and Jared was a sport and was Severus Snape (he's an awesome actor too). This is us at our wards Trunk of Treat. Dont you just love Jared's wig?

We went to the mall Halloween night for Trick or Treating. We ended up at the Disney store, Damaya found lots of things she liked there, so did I...

Earlier in the day Damaya and I went to a Retirement Home too. That was lots of fun. Damaya loved holding her pale out to get candy.
